Lazy River, a luxury romantic getaway, is less than one hour from Perth. Nestled within 5 acres of both landscaped gardens and mature native parkland this beautiful property has direct access to the Murray River in Pinjarra, Western Australia.
This is no ordinary Bed and Breakfast as the accommodation is separate from the host's homestead, therefore ensuring guests complete privacy.
A very spacious communal lounge and dining area offers a library of books, movies and music and board games.
An avenue of majestic spotted gums greets you on arrival and this leads down to the croquet lawn, the fruit orchard, vegetable garden and to the 100 meter wide stretch of the beautiful and tranquil Murray River. There are benches and tables by the river as well as a Jarrah jetty and small beach for launching the kayaks. This tranquil setting has now become home for an amazing variety of birds, including a flock of domestic guinea fowl.

Perfect weekend getaway
We found Lazy River to be a fantastic weekend retreat. Rooms are divine, gorgeous scenery, peace and quiet, SO much food, and plenty to see and do. Situated right next to the Murray River, the B&B provide kayaks to enjoy, as well as bicycles, tennis courts and racquets, putting golf, croquet, board games, books... You could easily idle the time away at the accommodation. However, a 10min drive will take you into the heart of Mandurah where there's plenty more to see and do. Liz and Steve were lovely, and made some excellent meals. Highly recommend!- Lmarinus
Another amazing relax and unwind at Lazy River
Our third over night stay and again it was supurb. The property has grown so much and is so lush and green - quite simply it's "picture perfect!" Steve & Liz are the perferct hosts and it was a delight to catch up with them again. Our room was faultless and every attention to detail was looked after...right down to the turning down of our beds and a little surprise choc left on our pillows. Oh the beds are glorious and the bedding divine, you will sleep like your on a cloud. Steve's menu is to die for. Platter of mixed starters that included - mushroom tarts, prawns, tapanade and small bruschetta..Entree: Mushroom soup, Main: Lamb chops with the best vegies and white onion sauce and Dessert: Creme Brulee...so divine you will think you are at a 5 star restaurant. Relaxed, spoilt and taken care of is how I explain Lazy River, can't wait to visit again.- Glenn & Bec Hall, Bassendean
We were amazed at how quick the trip was, just 42 minutes down the new freeway to within 4 minutes of Lazy River's total seclusion, and its rural peace and quiet. Superb hospitality.- Nairnwaters
What an amazing weekend we've just had at Lazy River B B&B! Absolute relaxation and luxury but more than that - the magical experience of getting into a kayak on the river as 3 dolphins forged by on a fishing mission, pushing up a wave and blowing bubbles to scare the unsuspecting fish. I have to say we were a bit surprised to see dolphins too. Wow. Very happy campers who look forward to treating ourselves to another stay - even without the dolphins the food, setting, room, champagne, food, hospitality, afternoon cakes, peace and quiet was terrific.- MarluPerth
